Enjoy the beauty of Winter in the mountains

Starting at Tenjin Lodge’s front door we follow the river to Ichinokura, a verticle rock face, with a relief of over 1000m and a year round glacier at the base

The trek, over largely flat terrain, is suited to anyone with an average level of fitness and takes 3-5 hours. We can expect to see rabbit tracks, deer and kamoshika footprints and by February, enough distant avalanche debris to take out a large building!

Adults ¥5000, kids under 12 years ¥4000, including hot chocolate, snacks, snowshoes, poles and little toboggans your guide straps to their pack for sliding down anything steep we walk past! Tours from Dec 26 through mid-April
